A "Like" on facebook; a $1 for Girls Inc

First there was Black Friday, then Cyber Monday. This year, American Express has designated November 27th as the first ever Small Business Saturday, a day to support the local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country. Small Business Saturday is a national movement to drive shoppers to local merchants across the U.S.

For each "Like" on the Small Business Saturday facebook page between now and the 27th, American Express will donate $1 -- up to $500,000 -- to Girls Inc. (national) to teach and empower young women to be the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
