Girls Inc. expands its successful Daddy Daughter Dance fundraising event
Girls Inc of Jacksonville hosts an additional Daddy Daughter Dance for the fall

Jacksonville FL., September XX, 2010-Girls Inc. of Jacksonville is hosting an additional Daddy Daughter Dance for the 2010 fall season. The continued success of the previous three spring dances and the parent’s request for an additional event, prompted Girls Inc. to create a Fall Daddy Daughter Dance.

The Daddy Daughter Dance is a special evening for all girls and their fathers or special adult male in their life. Over 500 daddy/daughter couples attended Girls Inc.’s Spring Daddy Daughter Dance last year, raising over $37,000 for Girls Inc. of Jacksonville.

The Fall Daddy Daughter Dance will take place at the Renaissance Resort at the World Golf Village, Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

“We have shared the joy of these dances with our girls and their fathers and we are thrilled to offer the opportunity to celebrate with an additional dance. Hosting the dance at new location will help Girls Inc. expand knowledge of our after-school and outreach programming in Northeast Florida,” said president and CEO of Girls Inc. of Jacksonville, Beth Hughes Clark.

Girls Inc. is looking forward to 500 dads and daughters for the fall dance. The event tickets cost $80 for each daddy/daughter couple and $30 for additional daughters. The event includes: dinner and dessert, music from Radio Disney, professional photographs, silent auction and raffle prizes.

Girls Inc. is also hosting their Spring Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

All proceeds from the dance will continue the much needed support of Girls Inc. after school, summer and outreach programs in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
